Bryan Brooks is a writer living in North Florida with ancestors that sprang from deep southern roots. Though much of his work was influenced by a 30 year law enforcement career in the Ft Lauderdale Police Department, more of it flows from spending over 3,000 hours of his life under water as a scuba diving instructor. His passion for the ocean waves slamming onto sandy beaches, combined with a lifetime interest in researching American History helped him insert fictional characters into actual historical events, all while staying faithful to the spirit of the times.
