Bryan Brooks is a writer living in North Florida with ancestors that sprang from deep southern roots. Though much of his writing was influenced by a thirty year career in the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, much more of it flows from spending over three thousand hours of his life underwater. Passion for ocean waves slamming onto sandy beaches combined with a life long interest in American History helped him insert fictional characters into actual historical events, all while staying faithful to the spirit of the times.
