Deb Boelkes is an award-winning author, keynote speaker, and consultant to C-level executives. Her latest book is "Women on Top: What’s Keeping You From Executive Leadership?" Her other books include "The WOW Factor Workplace: How to Create a Best Place to Work Culture" and "Heartfelt Leadership: How to Capture the Top Spot and Keep on Soaring."

Thanks to her 30 years climbing the career ladder within male-dominated Fortune 150 technology firms, Deb knows firsthand the challenges women can face in their efforts to reach the top. That’s why in 2009 she founded the leadership development firm Business World Rising—originally called Business Women Rising—to accelerate the advancement of high-potential leaders to the top of "Best Place to Work” organizations.

Deb speaks to corporations, industry associations, and universities the world over—both on stage and as a podcast guest expert—on career advancement, succeeding in the boardroom, and creating best place to work organizations. She is regularly featured on radio and in publications ranging from Advancing Women, Authority Magazine, and CNN Business, to Diversity MBA Magazine, SHRM.org, and Thrive Global.

Deb received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her MBA in management information systems from the University of Rhode Island. She lives on Amelia Island with her husband, Chris. Together they have three grown sons and four granddaughters.
